The Save Dreamland Campaign was launched by Joyland Books in January 2003 and is now supported by several thousand people. This is the place to discuss all aspects of saving Margate's famous amusement park and its iconic , Grade II listed Scenic Railway, Britain's oldest roller coaster.

I think I may have mentioned this some time back but have the trust looked into a membership scheme for the public something along the lines of the National Trust but of course on a smaller scale.
Individual or family membership options with benefits that could come later as the park opens and grows. You know the kind of thing newsletters, behind then scenes tours, discounts on admission/tokens/merchandise etc. And also this could help to get groups of volunteers especially during the off season for working parties.
Ok so it wouldn't be a huge income but some and possibly pay for insurance to cover volunteers.
Just an idea.
