I've only been to Dreamland 4 times, the first in 1980,prior to the Benbom buyout and then the sale to Godden,in those days the Park had character. The last 2 times I went to the Park was in Goddens ownership and I thought that the place was looking very neglected and run down,so has this been the plan all along to try to sell for development.?

Am I right in thinking that he bought the Park with a Grant from somewhere? If so,is he really entitled to sell if it wasn't totally his money in the first place? Only a thought. :? :?

Yes, it is my understanding that a grant was given, although I don't know if that was used towards the purchase price. If it was, the period during which you have to pay back the grant if you sell on the property has expired. So no dice.
