The Save Dreamland Campaign was launched by Joyland Books in January 2003 and is now supported by several thousand people. This is the place to discuss all aspects of saving Margate's famous amusement park and its iconic , Grade II listed Scenic Railway, Britain's oldest roller coaster.

Merry Christmas everyone. The project has really been making progress this year with the restoration of the cinema building, the 3m and I now hear that the organ has been accessed which is another step in the right direction to bring back Dreamland as a whole. I wish the campaign and everyone else a great Christmas and an even better new year!

A very merry Christmas to everyone from me too - I haven't posted anything much for ages, but I'm still very interested in what's going on and am delighted at the progress that has been made this year.
I'll be visiting Margate in a few days' time and am really looking forward to seeing the refurbished Dreamland fin lights for myself!

Although you're all very far away, you're never far from my thoughts. I can't wait to ride the Scenic Railway with you all very very soon. I'm hoping 2013 is the year we meet.
A safe holiday and healthy new year to you all.
