Toby Hunter of MTCRC's poem & our reply!

This is Toby Hunters vision on Dreamland..........

Ice cream, clouds moving slowly through the window,
Nearly there-there!
Shout,scream-fun,obscene-now I get my ice cream

Clickety clack, brake mans back
Straining to hold the car on track!
Cool breeze, shady trees, sitting on a park bench.
Stench/smell frying fish, candy and liquorice

Sandy beach, rich treats,holding hands,
Very proud, day out with the crowd,
Grandpa wake, we will be home by 8,
My young ones bait
I am tired, happy-good day out-thankyou Dreamland!
By Toby Hunter [MTCRC]

THE REALITY OF TOBY HUNTERS [MTCRC] VISION!

Clouds casting shadows across our town,
MTCRC tries to shut us down.
As children, block building must have seemed such fun,
But their adult development blocks our sun.
Wooden roller coaster, light & airy
Lack of maintenance makes it very scary,
Cold cutting wind, sleeping on a park bench,
No job, no hope, just the stench
Of an overfed money man, can't shake his hand,
Coming to asset-strip our beloved Dreamland!
