I have posted this before, many years ago, but I'll post it again. Two rides on the Scenic Railway, one rear-facing, one forward facing.

Two very young looking boys there Vince! Whatever happend to Simon and his family, are they still local to Margate or did they return to the joys of Luton. I remember when his son was a bit obsessed with Pass the Dutchie by Musical Youth, he played it god knows how many times one weekend.

I've got another 3 new passengers (they may not all be ready for the first train but) looking forward to their first ever ride on the Scenic.

Hi all,

I have just uploaded a Scenic Railway POV video which I filmed at the Save Dreamland Convention back in 2003. I hope you enjoy the ride!

Hey guys, those are some great videos/POVs. It is funny seeing how even then the place was considerably empty. Really there are not that many differences between the Dreamland we have there and the Dreamland we have now with the exception of the Scenic Railway which is obviously in terrible condition in today's times.

Anyway this is not my video and I don't know if any of you have seen it yet as it seems to be fairly new but I found it interesting and thought others might to.
(sorry if this is the wrong place to post or if it has been posted previously)

I found the quality and colour pretty good and was really nice to see all of the old rides, especially the Heatwave with its bright orange coat of paint.
I was actually really surprised how much green space was still around even then. There was quite alot that I did not remember like around the vintage car , wacky worm and heatwave rides.

Ah how I miss the old place. Still can't believe the owners are even considering enclosing the ride in housing, but hey! That is for another thread.

EDIT: I have also come across an interesting selection of pics from the park's early years which look quite interesting. Alot of the shots, I have never seen before.
