Hi all
ANother question sorry lol :roll: has the burnt out amusements place been replaced now? what amusements are still there...is flamingo there still? thanks for replies

Yes Flamingo is still there and has bowlingo lanes, which is fun. Actually there are quite a few amusement arcades along Margate seafront.

Is the beach shop just outside the Dreamland entrance still there? I was always impressed with the "kiss me quick" hats etc outside? I remember almost all of the seafront being full of arcades!

Does anyone know if the tivoli amusements have been shut down as it looks like that on google maps.... :(

Tivoli Amusements is now open as Jimmy G's as part of the Dreamland Leisure group. As Jimmy G's the arcade is slightly smaller than the previous Tivoli amusements and also has Walley's World childrens indoor play area downstairs which was formerly DV8 Nightclub.

That image was taken in March 2009, possibly it had not then re-opened after the fire which had happened a year earlier.
