Hi
Allthough the trust and council have won the fight to buy the site, the owners can and most likley appeal the result of this, so until this has been heard and then if that stlll goes the way of the council, then the site can be CP'd only then can the trust enter the site and start work to get the 1st phase completed.

I have just come home from a two week caravan holiday just outside Margate. Took some pictures of the remains of the Scenic that is looking in a very poor state of repair now. The end section to me seem to be leaning outwards? and some of the walk ways at the side of the track seem to of collapsed just over the public walk through. Could the Trust or the Council not apply for an emergency work order along the same lines as the Cinema before all is lost? I see the CPO going on for a little while yet, as for the owners of the site it just really shows that they really dont care about the Scenic or the site.
