As this is so very near Dreamland, whatever happens to it will have an effect on Dreamland.
http://youtu.be/sChKi-t1QlEThe Dreamland Trust has objected to the Tesco plans, as they WILL have a detrimental effect on the new Dreamland.

SHOPPING guru Mary Portas reiterated her objection to Tesco's plans for a seafront supermarket at Arlington House when in Margate this week for filming.
She also said: "The latest news about Dreamland is fantastic for Margate. That is why so many people used to come here. We need Dreamland back and definitely not a big Tesco on the seafront. I will speak to Eric Pickles, the Secretary for Local Government."
Miss Portas has led a two-year Government-backed investigation into the state of Britain's high streets.

There's an appeal for help with funding to fight the Tesco application.
http://arlingtonmargate.com/support/Remember, the Dreamland Trust has objected to this application. Tesco would certainly would have a VERY negative impact on the Dreamland proposals.
