Interesting to note that the date set for the re-opening of Dreamland this year is SATURDAY 3RD JULY 2004

Dreamland first opened on Saturday 3rd July 1920

Top of the list of attractions on the original advertisement

GIANT SCENIC RAILWAY


Let's make the 84th anniversary a memorable one and all be there

Hi Stephen,

Yes, a quite fascinating connection there to Dreamland's past. I hope we can all give optimum support to the park for this brief season.

Yup, that was almost 10 year ago.
Someone's bringing topics back from the grave. Um, I think posts this old are generally thought of as dormant and no longer applicable.

He's been busy getting into politics and is obviously reminiscing. I did point out once that it's unusual to find another Vince, and on here we have three!

Indeed I was, checking out some of the very retro posts just to think about how far this great campaign, supported by many great people, has come and how far it will go in the next 10 years!
