Postby Vince, Charlie and Sam » 26 Jun 2004, 14:19

We want to be on the first train of 2004.

Will the Scenic be running next saturday, and if so, at what time will the ride open to the public?

Thanks

Scenic Railway

Postby dave771 » 27 Jun 2004, 13:19

Hi Vince Charlie and Sam,

At the moment the ride is ready to run but has not had its ride inspection as yet, this is due to be carried out in the next week, both trains have had their checks done and neccasary work carried out and have both been run on the track succesfully from the information I have. Assuming the ride inspection all goes ok which there is no reason why it shouldnt the Scenic should be open on Saturday 3rd of July but opening times have not been confirmed at the moment,

Thanks Dave, I will be away at work this week but we will be there on saturday, and hope to be there for the first ride, so if you get any firm information about opening times, then please let us know here during the week.

We just cannot wait for next weekend.
