Possibly not just the listed aspects of the site that MTCRC / Dreamland Live might be scrimping on the maintenance:

I read about this yesterday. It is sad to hear about the incident. It must have been pretty traumatic and hopefully the boy is okay now.
As for MTCRC, while I don't know who manages the car park daily, it does show a clear lack of commitment in the site. So long as people are using it, the place needs to be regularly maintained; something that doesn't seem to be happening alot at the moment.

Hopefully Dreamland Live pull it together and fix it up to prevent a similar accident occurring again.

Poor lil dude... maybe offer him a free ride on the first scenic journey once it reopens????
