Hop Farm closure could be a chance to recover the gallopers?

Postby vince69619 » 11 Mar 2013, 15:25

Reports on the BBC suggest the Hop Farm at Paddock Wood is going into receivership.

As I recall the set of gallopers they have there are from DreamLand. Is there anything we should/can do to try to get these back to DreamLand?

You would need to find out who the recevers are as they will be in charge if/when it enters recevership, they will run it as a hgoing concern until they find a new operator or dicided to close the operation completely.

We are already on the case, and they may feature in the first year line-up, subject to us concluding the deal.

Went past the Hop farm again today and the Gallopers have now been taken down with just the centre left in place.

Wow, operating on the 26th, gone on the 28th.
I hope that means they've been packed up for eventual installation at Dreamland.

Good on all of you for keeping an eye on this stuff.
