Hopefully this is it, although to be perfectly honest I have suffered too many let-downs in the past to break open the Champagne just yet, call me cynical but I am convinced that the ghost of Jimmy Godden will have another trick up its sleeve...

you can appeal without permission but his should not stop the judgment going ahead

A quick read of some of the judgement seems to lead me to believe that the Judge wasn't having any of it.

The purpose of the appeal process seems to be to address mistakes in the original decision, not just to groan that you didn't like the outcome.

"For all of these reasons I am not satisfied that there is any merit in any part of this challenge and in those circumstances the claimants' application is dismissed."
