I have a couple of questions about the restoration if anyone has the answers:
Will the whole of the Scenic Railway be disassembled before the new/restored structure starts to be erected? In other words will there be a time where there is nothing of the Scenic left standing?
Also, how much of the original structure will be used in the restored construction?
Many thanks in advance.

I think there had be a statement that the dismantling and re erecting will be done in sections.
I don't think much if any of the original materials are being reused.

If no original parts are going to be used when the scenic is up and running next year will the scenic still be classed as 95 years old ?

I guess after the fire and years of it not being used it is what it is, the best that can be done. Im sure i read that the hill profiles have to be changed also to prevent carrage lift as it comes under new HSE guide lines?

I disagree. The trough is more than deep enough to contain a train getting a little air time.
Solution: Take the inspector through under heavy brake.
