That isn't true (at least not to the best of my knowledge!) It may be confusion with the news last week that Grevin & Cie (the company that owns Parc Asterix) has just acquired Pleasurewood Hills Theme Park in Suffolk.

The rumour of the 7-inversion coaster may have come from the fact that Parc Asterix has one, Goudurix. You may already know that, but I thought it was worth mentioning.

...and what a painful ride that is!

Hi all,
Must say I agree with your comment Nick re Goudurix, however as all good coaster fans are obliged to say "it's a nice addition to the park", especially with its location over the lake!
Just one thing though, I hope that Grevin & Cie's recent UK park acquisition will not impede any possible prospective purchase of the Dreamland site. I hope they just weren't getting impatient with the current indecision over Dreamland's future standing. Only time will tell as they say here I guess.

I can't comment on Goudurix, as I haven't been on it, but I think a 7-inversion coaster would work at Dreamland, actually. It would be built along modern design techniques and could be from any one of a number of different manufacturers. Vekoma for one could certainly surpass their older efforts. Probably Gerstlauer could do it too. B&M could, of course, but we're talking big money there!
