I was told today that there was a conflagration last week at a seafront arcade owned by Jimmy Godden.
My wife, who told me about it, said that she had read it in the Thanet Extra. She could not remember the name of the arcade, but apparently it was beneath a Chinese Restaurant, and the article was entitled "Diners evacuated in Seafront blaze".
She has now thrown the newspaper away.
Does anyone have a copy of last week`s Extra? I would be interested in reading the story in full.
