Scenic Railway sections blown over

From twitter, but photo looks genuine. Appears at least some large sections of the new replica structure have blown over. Looks like another setback sadly.

Hope it blew apart cleanly. Not snapped or twisted too badly. Who would pick up the bill? The construction company for not securing it correctly or dreamland? :(

Not the christmas present i wanted!

Speaking to someone I know who works for Topbond it looks far worse than actually is, he said they think some of the sections are salvagable

It looks like they had dismantled the old north turnaround and started to rebuild it leaving an isolated structure of new material which is what has collapsed. I hope it doesn't set them back too much.

Really sad to hear this though these things to happen. Hopefully this won't set them back to much and some of it can be salvaged. Kind of ironic that the section to collpase was the new build.

it does look a bit like a domino effect so hopefully most of the sections will be salvageable, unfortunate just as it was starting to take shape

Yup, what he said. Had it been complete, this wouldn't have happened.
