Thought I'd post this. Good luck to all those hoping to get tickets...

Very sad that this forum seems to have been abandoned by anyone who is now involved with the park. This is, after all, where it all began... :(

Nope - got that wrong - looks like the "locals" discount above is going to be the on-the-day price EVERY day!

saw some of you were upset not getting the piece of the scenic. I lined up for over an hour to grab one, but was late for something so had to run! :(

I saw some rides which confused me. Like a tower drop ride, monorail ride and the wacky worm which we already knew of. One of the staff there said it was not going to be a heratige park. Instead was a retro themed park? We will see in a second when they reopen the website with the ride list :)

I'm pleased to say I have a piece of the scenic, charred wood and few bolts from a visit to the site made a couple of years' ago with a certain person who had better remain nameless for now, but who I can safely say knows more about the Scenic and its operation than most. No cert but plenty of photos, particularly of the machinery as it was then, and Basil the Dreamland cat.

Nice piece in today's Guardian

It's such wonderful news. I doubt I'll be at the opening day as I suspect all the tickets will have gone by now, but I fully intend to ride the Scenic sometime soon!

See my other post about the problem with the party tickets and no attachments to booking confirmation email! So if you have booked for the party, CHECK that you have the attachment.

viewtopic.php?f=4&t=3119

I've had no problem now the morning rush is over booking daytime tickets via the site, and the eticket attachment worked. Tickets enable entry from 10 am to 5pm.

I gather that the entry price for Dreamland will include all rides, 17 on opening day June 19th, hopefully more will eventually follow. Local residents I gather will have a permanent £4 discount on entry. (Lucky locals!)

The opening night Hullabaloo evening party... all rides will be open and that is included in the evening party ticket price.
