Dreamland on Sun 18th July?

The Save Dreamland Campaign was launched by Joyland Books in January 2003 and is now supported by several thousand people. This is the place to discuss all aspects of saving Margate's famous amusement park and its iconic , Grade II listed Scenic Railway, Britain's oldest roller coaster.

Will it be open on sun 18th July, with the Scenic running? does it stop if it rains? thanks g...

Yes it will be open, and as far as i know even if it rains, Well i hope so kus ill be there aswell

The Scenic will be open daily from saturday the 17th July, in heavy rain the ride does close for safety reasons, if the brakes do not slide in the rain then it will be open, depends on who is working on the ride at the time, certain older brakeman are scared of water and would do anything to close the ride as soon as a cloud appears, if its a Saturday or Sunday then I will run the ride as much as possibly taking safety in to account first
