ECC at Dreamland - riding the Scenic on 3 October

Postby SuburbanHomeboy » 27 Aug 2015, 08:18

Well folks, the European Coaster Club has sent out a notification that we'll be spending the day at Dreamland on 3 October, including rides on the Scenic Railway, plus background tour etc. This must mean that Dreamland have an opening date in mind.

Has anyone seen the real trains on site - or even testing?

Has anyone who went on the opening day and bought their ticket before it was announced that the Scenic wouldn't be opening with the park received their free return ticket for the new Scenic opening day?

Thanks in advance!

In the recent BBC interview they mentioned "Scenic September" so I guess they're currently aiming for sometime September, with the ECC trip giving a slight delay to hopefully ensure it's open.

Nothing here yet, but I'm guessing they'll wait until they officially announce a date.
