The Save Dreamland Campaign was launched by Joyland Books in January 2003 and is now supported by several thousand people. This is the place to discuss all aspects of saving Margate's famous amusement park and its iconic , Grade II listed Scenic Railway, Britain's oldest roller coaster.

Did anyone see the late night film 'The Last Resort' on BBC2 late on Monday night.
A couple of asylum seekers get housed up in Arlington House in Margate.
Very grim movie but a couple of shots of a barren Dreamland and other footage filmed around Margate.

hello i dident see the film last night or on monday night but i have go the film on video.i like the film because its the first whole film only set in margate.i live in margate and love the place and dreamland of course.great but dull film.theres also last orders with bob hoskins in, but there not in margate untill the end of the film.i cant wait to see hot spot by tracey emin in , about her teenage years in margate.tracey is the top margate women allways
