Ok I would like to start the ball rolling, so here it goes

Name: Ian Collins

Age: 19

Location: Ramsgate (born in Hastings)

Hobbies: Software Development, Website Design, Music and of course helping out with this capaign as much as possible.

What would you're best outcome of Dreamland be?: I would love to see Dreamland restored back to the glory days of when it brought people from miles around to show them how amuesment parks can really have an impact (unfortunatly wasn't around when Dreamland was one of the best around).

Would you prefer new owners?: Personally long as the park started to get better with permanent rides and owners then I wouldn't mind who owns the park.

Name: Killa (thats all your getting, my name is pretty much obsolete this is the name used by all my friends and my full name remains a mystery to most...)

Location: Currently Sunderland (all north east england, born in Whitley Bay, home of the now deceased spanish city fun park)

Hobbies: Motorsport, Business Ventures, Travelling amusements, seaside attractions, socialising when i have the time

Best Outcome For Dreamland: Ultimately if we could rewind to the Bembom days, although outdated and impossible, would be nice, however we cant go back and if progress is to be made we need to look to the future- large investment needs to be made first of all just to get the park in good order since Godden seems to have done his best at letting it fall to rack and ruin. A good selection of machines and attraction to suit whole families, good facilities and a safe friendly atmosphere

New owners?: Obviously for any investment to be made the park needs new owners and we all know the man for the job (lets face it, the big giants arent interested)

I have seen part of my childhood be decayed and then destroyed, our spanish city dome still sits there boarded up and literally falling apart whilst wasteland and a cheap nasty school building occupy what was once the park- all remaining traders forced out by compulsary purchase, we are just waiting for the ineviatable, north tyneside council are almost as good as godden at burning things down! this can not and will not happen to your park.

Best outcome for Dreamland? : To be run by a well established and commited operator who is willing to make it a succesful fun park !

Location: Reading

Hobbies: Model Engineering, Steam engines, Mobile Disco, Hospital Radio, Electronics, Computing, DIY (If someone want's to buy Billie and has the room for some track, we could have a ball!)

What would you're best outcome of Dreamland be?: Something close to the concept plan. A park with advertising run by a committed team who are not just looking to sell for the maximum quick payout.

Would you prefer new owners?: The owners either existing or new need to be interested in running an amusement park. Doesn't that answer itself?

Age: 35 (ouch, that hurt)

Location: Margate

Hobbies: my job, antiques, vintage clothes, my rusty A40, dreaming of becoming the World Open Latin American Dance Champion, the Campaign (not necessarily in that order).

What would your best outcome of Dreamland be?: For it to be a thriving, family-friendly 21st-century amusement park. For it to play a pivotal role in the regeneration (I hate that word) of dear old Margate.

Would you prefer new owners?: As opposed to the current one? I think that's a yes.

Name: David Ellis (39)

Location: Lowestoft, Suffolk.

Hobbies: Riding coasters (with or without clothes), watching Leeds United football club, playing darts, eating.

What would you're best outcome of Dreamland be?: Something along the lines of the concept plan, with the scenic railway retained and some new investment under a committed owner who wants the park to be successful.

Would you prefer new owners?: It couldn't get much worse under the existing one, so yes please!

A park with good investment and committed ownership will attract visitors from all over the UK...look at what Megafobia did to little Oakwood Park in Wales. If they can make a success of it then Dreamland, with its catchment area close to London, certainly can.

What would you're best outcome of Dreamland be?: The site to continue as a park, if that means selling off part of the land to finance it than so be it.

Would you prefer new owners?: Prehaps, but it dode not have to be a permanant owner just as long as they are not in it to make a quick buck or two.

Hobbies: photography, book publishing, computers, web design, swimming, music, saving old amusement parks, appearing at public inquiries on my day off from a job that involves appearing at public inquiries.

What would you're best outcome of Dreamland be?: To see the place fulfilling the potential that it has been prevented from doing for well over five years now. Dreamland should be a modern, friendly, attractive, lively, fun place drawing people into Margate from all across the south east of England and beyond. And, of course, the Scenic Railway standing proud at its centre, fully restored, with a grinning Dave Collard tugging at the brake.

What would you're best outcome of Dreamland be?Ideally a thriving family amusement park, bringing in travellers from around the south and beyond, similar to when i was a kid and the place would have queues going out the seafront. For the glorious Scenic Railway to be restored lvoingly and repainted to look vibrant, for some eye catching new rides, for families and for thrill seekers, and a big iconic ride..why oh why was The Big Wheel removed...look at all these major cities now, i mean, Manchester has a big wheel in the city centre.
Would you prefer new owners?: Dear god YES!

What would you're best outcome of Dreamland be?: To be returnted to a family attraction that will bring visitors back to Margate in droves.

Would you prefer new owners?: Any other than the current one even i could do a better job than him and what i know about this job could be written on the back of a stamp. But i think Phillip Miller would be the ideal option, he seems to have the vision needed to get the job done.

Sadly not, Vince, I'm 46. Charlie and Sam are seven years old.

I collect old amusement machines and railway equipment, and have a railway in my back garden on which we run two miniature steam engines (yes really). Hobbies also include travel- apart from the travel that comes with my job, we went to Finland and Spain last year and are off to Morocco after Xmas.

Best case scenario for Dreamland is very simple- a new owner for the whole site who wishes to run it as an amusement park, and a long-term franchaise for someone to operate the Scenic Railway. I think we all know who.

Hi Vince,

Cool hobbies, we have G scale running around our garden, don't really have the room for 5", otherwise we would. Not using steam in the garden, but we do at the club, coal fired too!

Future Park Concept
The park to be completely redesigned, owned and managed with commitment by an interested and dedicated owner. Permement rides with family centred and interests for all users operated on an affordable wristband system. State of the art rides retaining the Scenic Railway hopefully with Dave at the helm.
