The Save Dreamland Campaign was launched by Joyland Books in January 2003 and is now supported by several thousand people. This is the place to discuss all aspects of saving Margate's famous amusement park and its iconic , Grade II listed Scenic Railway, Britain's oldest roller coaster.

Been to Dreamland 6 to 7 times , I've put my money were my mouth is . I don't feel the need to come on here to read Bobs rubbish . He's already changed his mind six times as to when Dreamland will shut. There are also others that have not even been that slag it off.. Time to shut this forum in my eyes,

While I still follow up on here time to time, reading how a majority have given up on Dreamland has little to no interest for me. I have visited Dreamland since its reopening, had some great days out and will be attending Screamland next Saturday to enjoy the park for what this very forum has been fighting for, for so long.
Shame some people only wish to use this site now as an avenue to troll with indecisive garbage. Its boring.

Forums in general are way down on participation. People have moved to the much more transient facebook.
I like forums for the ease of returning to conversations. On facebook, topics are quickly bumped off the front page by new posts. It's a temporary, short attention span world we live in now.
I still enjoy dropping in and listening to Bob spout off and prove (again and again - and again) what an idiot he is.
