Hello all,
Sarah's asked me to post this great new photo of the completed Giant Wheel here temporarily until Nick has time to add it to the news or gallery pages.
It's certainly eye catching!

Great Photo!
At least everyone will know that Dreamland is open this year
Let's hope this season proves what we already know......
Great rides & attractions = a viable pleasure park.
Can't wait to pay Margate a visit.
Do we have an official opening day yet?...... Any ideas what else has been arriving?

That could be a blessing in the long run. I have heard that it opens a pathway to the seafront.

Are you really the mayor?
How cool.
Whoever put that wheel there really wants to make a statement.
Good for them.

Its true Jim, Mick is the Mayor and he also has a long history of working for Dreamland.
There used to be a huge model of Dreamland as you entered the park which Mick built.
This is Micks model of the Scenic which he brought along to the convention a few years back

...and it looks like there's already plenty of retail space. No need to add more of the same.
A fantasticly restored park would mean better business for what's already there and attract better merchants to existing space that is or becomes avialable.
Why don't they(council) see that?
