Good lord, how does Illinformed know about my new shoes and pencil skirt?? I have both, so am concerned...

I have had to bid again - Porf, you'll have to do better than that - so it's still The Tweets as your special treat on the night. Although, I may waver and nominate the Baron Knights...

Someones been checking out your feedback on ebay Sarah! :o

You can get a great insight into people by their ebay feedback and on what they have bought! Sometimes it can leave a bit worried or even DISTURBED

I see Miss Smartie Pants has upped the bidding again.
I'm going to sit on this to see who else chimes in.
If we drive it too high right away, we'll lose the chance to get some outsiders involved.

Don't get all smug, Sarah. As much as I like "Dance Little Bird" by the Tweets, I'm still a bit more partial to Mr. Somerville, Mr. Coles, and Ms. Morris.

I am keeping out of this! The birdie song! Don't you realise that playing the Birdie song could mean Vince never playing in Chatham again!

It's enough to get a DJ banned you know! :D

Well, that's a lucky break that only my last two ebay items are viewable. That could have been mortifying...

My bid is not so high, Jim. I'm not pricing anyone out of the market! And I'm not fixed on The Birdie Song... what about a Black Lace number? There are so many - Superman, Agadoo, Do the Conga (I am firmly of the belief that no party is complete without a conga, one that leaves the room preferably). As it stands, we're all choo-choo-chooing on the 29th.

I'll insist on a photograph since I can't be there.

I have to chime in as I require either the theme tune to Button Moon (Jim D Jr, this was a popular series on these shores in the 70's/80's based around a moon made out of a Yellow Button where Mr and Mrs Spoon lived, who were made largely out of kitchen paraphanalia) or Anita Dobson's 1985 Number One "Anyone Can Fall In Love" based on the theme of mockney cockney soap "Eastenders" - a song that raised the bar for popular music.

This is beginning to sound like either a kiddie dance, a wedding, or a gay disco.

Ooh, if we get to vote I'm opting for the gay disco as I don't have much experience of weddings or kiddies (fingers crossed it stays that way). Maybe I should be bidding for some Shirley Bassey.

Perhaps being a Club DJ, I could whip together a little Pet Shop/Bronski/Commu/Dead or Alive/New Order/Depeche Mode-ish Gay Disco Classic Mega-Mix and have him play it.
...not that I would know anything about the gay club scene....
