I'm sure that a few of you know about this already and I hope this hasn't been posted already. I spotted something that could be interesting on the Thanet Life website

Anyway, it would appear that "Sandy Ezekiel, has kindly agreed to take reader’s questions in a regular leader’s audio interview".

The link is http://birchington.blogspot.com/2006/04/listen-in.html It's nice to see that a few Dreamland questions have been submitted already. However it is such a shame to see such a small amount of questions asked. The word needs to be spread and some awkward questions need to be asked.

The interview is now on line at :http://birchington.blogspot.com/2006/05/politics-online-sandy-ezekiel.html

A summary of some of the comments made by Sandy Ezekiel relating to Dreamland :

* Claims they have taken on board the inspectors report.

* Stresses that the site can currently only be used for Leisure use but not just amusement park.

* States there are no short term measures - it is a long term issue.

* They are not considering compulsory purchase as they do not believe it would succeed.

* They are working with developers and other amusement park operators who have come forward - this included a reference to a Southend operator.

Cheers
