Does anyone know whats happening with this or who owns it now?

It's in a terrible state now - dirty, vandalised and abandoned!

I just had a thought that it might be part of the plan to put the new road through the Dreamland site?

Perhaps The MTCRC has snapped it up?

Hi Jim,

For your info the "NCP" is a UK chain of parking structures (at least I think they still are anyway!) - it stands for National Car Parks - they're usually multi-level structures. (I know your parking lot jargon as I've visited the US on numerous occasions; after coming back from a US trip I normally find it quite difficult to get back into the UK parking jargon again, sometimes telling friends where I've parked in the parking lot! - and getting some strange looks in the process). Personally, I just love the country differences in language twists (I even get into the habit of saying "it's for here" when I order some fast food over here now; can't quite get into the habit of "it's for takeout though).

I can fully sympathise with your "local" confusion; if I mentioned a restaurant chain called Little Chef it'd be like me telling someone over here about Coco's or Denny's in the states. (Little Chef is our nearest national equivalent to your aforementioned locations if you're not aware of the name). I can't say it has any real resemblence to your more comprehensive (IMO) eateries though. Just thought I'd throw that one in - and I know it's not exactly "on topic" before someone shouts at me.

Have a nice day Jim

Martin

PS I reckon Denny's would make a killng if they ventured over into the UK

Unless any deals have been done in the last week, the NCP Car Park is owned by Freshwater, who also own Arlington House.
