The Save Dreamland Campaign was launched by Joyland Books in January 2003 and is now supported by several thousand people. This is the place to discuss all aspects of saving Margate's famous amusement park and its iconic , Grade II listed Scenic Railway, Britain's oldest roller coaster.

how come the picture of the scenic railway on the main page of the save dreamland website has been replaced by a picture with kids on bumper cars ?

It was only changed to add a bit of variety, as I thought the front page was getting a bit stale. I propose to change the pics every so often to keep it looking fresh. There are still several pics of the Scenic on the front page, but if everyone wants the old pic back, I am more than happy to oblige.

As you say there are plenty of Scenic pictures on the site. Perhaps visitors to Dreamland can send you some pictures of the rides there this summer to be featured.

Personally I like the change, does seem nice and refreshing and as Susan said I'm sure a 2006 Picture would look great there!

The Dodgem picture was from 2002, but it was designed to show that this campaign is not just about the Scenic Railway. I have now added a 2006 picture of people having fun on the Big Wheel!

Brilliant, I am going to take alot of pictures tomorrow (when I find my camera) and with 29 people attending I'm sure there will be loads with people having fun in it.
