The Save Dreamland Campaign was launched by Joyland Books in January 2003 and is now supported by several thousand people. This is the place to discuss all aspects of saving Margate's famous amusement park and its iconic , Grade II listed Scenic Railway, Britain's oldest roller coaster.

It would be a lovely thing to see at Dreamland but as they can't even afford to pay debts to suppliers for work carried out two years ago, I can't see it happening somehow.

Doubt they could raise the money, research says it's the ex Bobbejaanland looping star thats been refurbed and overhauled as that's the unit that was built in 1979 and predates the one installed at dreamland, but it should be the same layout and frame.

Out of all the coasters I have been on I would regard this as the best one I have ever been on. I just wish dreamland could afford it. This would definitely be a great addition to the park.
