This is what Joyland Books is all about! What do you recommend? What should be avoided? Is there a title you just can't find? We will do everything we can to help.

I found a rather unusual way of as acquiring books tonight. Whilst having a swift pint in my local Wetherspoons I spotted as copy of "British Circus Life" published in 1948 on the bookshelves.
This has some great photos of the Reco circus family.
The CCTV prevented me "liberating" the book. Plan B was launched and the idea was to offer them a charity donation for the book. Turns out not to be needed, the staff were quite happy for me to "liberate" the book in exchange for buying another pint as "they're all donated"
So scan those pub bookshelves!
