Finding books - Top tip

Postby porf » 08 Apr 2013, 22:31

I found a rather unusual way of as acquiring books tonight. Whilst having a swift pint in my local Wetherspoons I spotted as copy of "British Circus Life" published in 1948 on the bookshelves.

This has some great photos of the Reco circus family.

The CCTV prevented me "liberating" the book. Plan B was launched and the idea was to offer them a charity donation for the book. Turns out not to be needed, the staff were quite happy for me to "liberate" the book in exchange for buying another pint as "they're all donated"

So scan those pub bookshelves!

Well I don't like too much reading because it rolls my mind, so thats why I avoid to reading books specially the boring books. But can anyone suggest me some good books which really attract me?
