This is what Joyland Books is all about! What do you recommend? What should be avoided? Is there a title you just can't find? We will do everything we can to help.

you guessed it.....the classic old Chance Trabant rides which have sadly almost dissapeared (at least where I am). I can't seem to find anything which is really frustrating me....:?

I hope you guys can help me! It would make my day.

Do you mean the old Satellite rides?

No footage but a small picture :-)

Try:

1) clicking the link below for World Exhibitions: It should take you to 1967 World Fair in Montreal (Idea for BPB's Astroswirl dome came from this fair..)

2) Click 'read more'

3) Click 'attractions'

4) Click the number 2 on the left of the picture

A bit convoluted and laborious for one small picture but..Hey a trabant!!...I think!! :D

(The World Exhibitions Website is great as well!)

Brings back some great memories of a ride I experienced at Southport (early seventies) Butlins in Pwllheli Wales (mid seventies) and St Helens Show mid seventies and I hate spin and spews.

The Link is here: http://www.expo2000.de/expo2000/geschichte/index.php?wa_id=17&lang=1
Please pass through the turnstiles if you are riding again.
