The Great British Seaside Resort: sun, sand, piers, funfairs and donkey rides. But that is only part of the attraction. If you love being beside the seaside, talk about it here!

about out of season seaside film
a film called out of season (1970's) was filmed in the north east and had a scene shot a closed amusement park and showed a waltzer the movie had susan george starring in it.
also a movie called slayground (1980's) had scenes shot at a closed
pleasureland southport in the winter months.

I know that one of the Likely Lads films had out of season footage of the Spanish City amusement park.
I have seen Slayground - there is loads of Southport footage in that. It looks very run down indeed.
