The Great British Seaside Resort: sun, sand, piers, funfairs and donkey rides. But that is only part of the attraction. If you love being beside the seaside, talk about it here!
Down in folkstone now i dont think nothings down there they seem to closing everywhere look what happened to dreamland shame it was good and bit of the rides where faster than southend but thats still gd send some of these rides to southend how good would that be
Last time I went to Folkstone (last summer) the ghost train building, the flume and some old rollercoaster were there just sitting and falling to bits. It's a real shame because I remember going there as a little kid and loving it. I guess that was only just less than 10 years ago (I'm 16 now.)
I first went to the park in 1991, then once more in 2002. Little did I know it would be the last season to ride the Runaway Coaster. It was closed all week due to refurbishment, then one day I just pulled up and the manager said it'd be opening in half an hour. I stayed for a couple of rides!
