Folkestone Rotunda

The Great British Seaside Resort: sun, sand, piers, funfairs and donkey rides. But that is only part of the attraction. If you love being beside the seaside, talk about it here!

Last time I went to Folkstone (last summer) the ghost train building, the flume and some old rollercoaster were there just sitting and falling to bits. It's a real shame because I remember going there as a little kid and loving it. I guess that was only just less than 10 years ago (I'm 16 now.)

I first went to the park in 1991, then once more in 2002. Little did I know it would be the last season to ride the Runaway Coaster. It was closed all week due to refurbishment, then one day I just pulled up and the manager said it'd be opening in half an hour. I stayed for a couple of rides!
