winter gardens morcambe

The Great British Seaside Resort: sun, sand, piers, funfairs and donkey rides. But that is only part of the attraction. If you love being beside the seaside, talk about it here!

winter gardens morcambe

visited morcambe today and was able to go in the winter gardens building
which the friends of the winter gardens are trying to restrorate, there seems a long way to go yet but its taking shape in places looking around the building its a lovely interior and when eventually finished will looks as good if not better than the grand theatre at blackpool.
its always great to see projects like this as too many seaside theatres ect.
have been demolished and lost forever lets hope that there are more
seaside places that are under threat saved
dave.

I went to morecambe in July and took some pics inside the old Frontierland site which has now been derelict for 7 years.

It's good to see something positive happening at Winter Gardens and the Midland hotel.
