Avatar Error

Postby RowBot » 15 Apr 2005, 22:51

Hey nick,
I tried to upload a avatar to my profile (.gif file) and it said that it was invalid file type so at the end I had to use a offsite picture. Just wondering if this could be fixed.

Thankz Ian Collins

Just letting you know that the problem has now been corrected. It was a bug in the php coding. You should be able to upload avaters now.

Hi
I have tried to upload an avatar, even though it is less than 6kb here, your database will not allow me to submitt it (neither as gif not jpeg)

any ideas on how I can get the file over to you??

Thanks in advance

Stoneroad :

Are you just getting a message saying it needs to be under 6k or some other message?

I just tried and can't get a legal sized one to go up either.

Mine is currently linked to one held on my webspace, rather than uploaded to the forums. If you have that as an option it's probably the quickest way ahead, but I'll try and see why the uploads aren't working as well.

Thanks

I am getting the message that the file size must be 6kB or less.
(and I am trying to upload from my own files.)
