The Save Dreamland Campaign was launched by Joyland Books in January 2003 and is now supported by several thousand people. This is the place to discuss all aspects of saving Margate's famous amusement park and its iconic , Grade II listed Scenic Railway, Britain's oldest roller coaster.

the cableway looks brilliant , i went on a simular ride like that in florida usa , im hoping the cableway runs all around the park , maybe nick sarah or dave might know the answer to that , how high will the cableway be ?

The idea for the cableway is to go from the park to the Sands and back, offering great views of the sea on the way out and of the rides on the way back. The highest point is 8m. It's meant to be not only a fun ride for Dreamland but also a great tourist attraction for Margate's sea front.

does this mean that half the structure will be built in dreamland and the other half along marine terrace and on to the beach ?
