Tivoli Gardens Denmark - Scenic train source?

Really must apologise. I've got Bakken and Tivoli mixed up.

It's the Bakken trains being replaced as Martin (porterm) and David Ellis says.

I also find it hard to beleve that a system that has worked for so many years with no accidents, injury, or deaths should have to be replaced by a system ran by a Computer, If i was on a senic I know I would prefer to have human with his hand on the brake than relay on a computer system, that is most likly running on a version of Windows.

It may be the owners that have decided to do away with a brakeman in the interest of H+S. If the brakeman was to fall off and die it is the owners of the park that may well face a charge of Corperate Manslaughter. I would of thought the risk was fairly low as many people seem to say this has never happened. Risk assessments are worked out by Severity x likelihood.So if a brakeman was to fall off it could well be fatal but not likely to happen.

I have visited Bakken a few times, and I love their scenic railway, which is considered by those that have ridden it as probably the most airtime-filled of the scenics. It is a shame that they are doing away with the brakemen...it is part of the heritage of the ride.

Oddly, health & safety has never been much of an problem at the park, and on ECC visits there we have been able to walk all over the ride with no restrictions.

Once we were allowed out of the coaster train at the top of the ride, so we could walk onto a viewing platform to take photos etc. The train that dropped us off returned to the station, resuming with public on board...all the time with us on the top of the coaster taking photos. After 30 minutes up there watching trains full of riders enjoying the coaster an empty train went up, the brakeman stopped it, we climbed back on and returned to the station. Looks like the removal of the brakemen will stop that in future. Shame.

I'm wondering how much, if any, of the metal chassis components survived the fire?
There's a real possibility the trains will have to be rebuilt out of what's left, or from scratch.

I don't doubt that the general population is unaware that Dreamland's coming back, or still think it's only in the discussion stages.
Once it becomes common knowledge that Dreamland is absolutely coming back, his is the kind of achievable goal (Help restore the trains of the Scenic Railway!) that could be advertised on local radio stations with some kind of raffle or giveaway.
This could be a real public relations boon and raise money for train restoration/replacement.
