Ian Trowell at the National Fairground Archive is currently trying to get precise histories of Calypso Rides.

CA5 is reported to have gone to Dreamland in 1977. Can anyone confirm that this is the same ride that went to Folkestone in 1983 and, if so, did it ever return to Margate?

There was an A.P.E Calypso (new 1975) for Sale from Ramsgate in 1982 - Does anyone know where this went?

Also T & P Russell had a Calypso for sale in 1981. Any information on manufacturer, previous owners and where it went after being sold would be greatly appreciated.
