Postby Nick » 07 Jul 2011, 21:27

The listing entry for the Scenic Railway has been upgraded from Grade II to II* today:

http://list.english-heritage.org.uk/res ... id=1359602

This puts the Scenic Railway in the top 6% most important listed buildings in the country.

I've noticed that the BBC is now covering the upgrade in the listing:-

Really pleased to hear this news. Meridian Tonight (ITV1, UK) also reported on this accomplishment earlier this evening. Yet more good publicity to keep Dreamland alive in the local media.
