Links to blogs can be time consuming, because you have to read everything to find what you're looking for. best to cut-n-paste the passage.
Here's the relevant passage from the link above:
That would be, I suspect, someone from the Save Dreamland campaign. The Save Dreamland Campaigns forum gives some details and a name of someone who apparently would take the site. Sadly the forum acts very aggressively towards anyone who doesnt agree completely and to the letter with every post there is on that forum which is a real shame. Im sure they did a similar thing at the Local Plan Full Council meeting a while ago.
Good to hear that theres mroe certainty about the sucess expected from the new Turner Contemporary.

My reponse to that:
I think we're only agressive to Bob The Liar.
It's called "Save Dreamland", not "Let's Discuss Possibly Giving Up Dreamland"
We're here to discuss SAVING the park. Point blank. Period.
It's a place to collect news items and proactive thoughts on what we can do to insure that the park remains.
Obviously, discussion is encouraged and viewpoints from all sides help reveal facts and reach goals, but the pointless, lying naysayers really have no place here.
If they're so against it, they can start their own site and campaign. It's a free internet.
Illinformed,
Agressive isn't always a negative term. Rather than just whining and moaning on a message board, the members here are getting into the streets, contacting the council, and raising public awareness for something they believe in.
Better than sitting at home on our duffs watching TV all night.
We need more people willing to put themselves out for something they care about rather than just taking whatever life hands them.
DaveD,
"It's easy to misinterpret the condemnation of Bob and the odd Bob stooge as being aggressive; maybe that's the idea? Maybe they want to paint us as aggressive because things are often said to provoke opinion which naturally generates a strong reaction from the campaign members. It is annoying in many respects because by taking to the streets and canvassing the opinion of locals, people had a good chance to see the good-natured character of the people involved & could have approached us with their opinion; seeing first hand that we would have listened politely and intently to every negative and positive comment. "
Good point.
Just another reason to ignore Bob's inane statements and not comment on them.
