The wheel will not be returning, but to say it is entirely due to poor visitor numbers is incorrect. There is another reason why it is not coming back, but I cannot really discuss it on a public forum.
M&D's are one of the UK's premier fairground and amusement park operators and they would have been great for Dreamland and great for Margate. Their involvement in Dreamland could have been more than just a wheel, but sadly, that was not to be. I don't know whether Bob knows the real reason for M&D's pulling out, but if Bob is who we think he is then I am sure that he does. People can be assured, though, that the reason he has given is not the full truth.
