The Save Dreamland Campaign was launched by Joyland Books in January 2003 and is now supported by several thousand people. This is the place to discuss all aspects of saving Margate's famous amusement park and its iconic , Grade II listed Scenic Railway, Britain's oldest roller coaster.

i would just like to say happy christmas to all , and take the opportunity to thank the main team for all their hard work and to every one for the continued support. I look forward to 2008 hoping to see a break through on Dreamland and seeing the Scenic up and running again. Good luck everyone.

Hi all,
Just a quick message to everyone supporting the cause at this special time of the year. Hope everyone has a great time over the festive period and I look forward to meeting up with new and old friends in 2008.
Martin
PS Was good to visit Sarah and Dave at the Shell Grotto this afternoon. Seeing Santa got me into the spirit of things a little more. Plus the very welcoming mulled wine was very nice, and unexpected too. Cheers everyone! - Let's hope the new year brings in some positive news on the Dreamland revival front.
