Design new Dreamland heritage amusement park brochures

We need someone who is willing to design new Dreamland heritage amusement park brochures, pictures of the rides taken as photos, a design of the park in map version, we need these brochures as publicity and to advertise the park just like other UK parks do each and every year, we need TV adverts all across the nation advertising the heritage park, we need radio adverts all across Kent, we need to do as much as possible to get the park noticed all across the UK and then when the park has been successful over a 3 year period it will be time to get the park noticed world wide as it will be a first ever heritage amusement park in the world and that means something as people all over the world will have to go to Dreamland to experience any old classic ride as Dreamland may become the only place for that sort of thing in the future.

Well if and when it is all decided im sure the company running the park will know how to run a business and how to successfully advertise a new venture. Companies are well aware of the importance of advertising and im sure they will do what needs to be done when the time comes.

Might have some legs for raising awareness with children in Margate. Children in (most) primary schools are required to make some study of the seaside, generally around Year 2. There are both History and Geography units which combine very well.

I have taught these for the last couple of years and use archive footage and online mapping tools to study Margate, amongst other seaside resorts. I'm sure many on here have explored the archives of Pathe News where there is much footage to view online and to download. The ancient newsreels really capture the imagination of these young learners.

One popular activity is to design a brochure, I now live in Exmouth so we do it for our town.

Were I teaching in Margate, designing a Heritage Park and subsequent brochure would very much be on the cards. If anyone knows Thanet teachers, Governors or parents of young children then this would be a positive way of raising awareness of Dreamland both in the past and the future. Push them towards this study, many will welcome the idea if they are not incororporating it in their teaching already. Many young children will not have a clue what Dreamland means to the town, they need to learn about this. Todays 7 year old will be the customer of 2015, maybe a brakeman by 2020.

Once we have an agreed operator for the site, a planned opening date and someone has purchased/obtained all the rides it'll be great to include local kids in this sort of exercise.

At the moment though this is all still so far off that I think it's more than a little early to worry about brochures.

I'd wait until we actually know that a park will re-open on the site before getting down to this sort of level. The risk otherwise is that people assume the park is already saved - it isn't.

Hi there!

I am a local Graphic Design student and as part of my final degree project I am looking to re-create a brand for the park, as if it were to re-open.

Although it will be used in my final show, it is a "just for fun" brief.

I need old images/maps/brochures/tickets to the park and was hoping someone on this forum can help me. I would simply need to take pictures of the old style branding for my research and would then be using this to develop a new look.

Any help would be much appreciated
