im hoping there will be a dreamland shop in the park offering merchandise such as t shirts, baseball caps, mugs, posters ect

I would imagine there will be, theme parks make a lot of money from the add-ons- food, ride photos, souvenirs etc.

Managed to get Charlie to go on Rage at Adventure Island last weekend, by bribing him with an on-ride photo. At £6, it's very easy money for them.

He loved Rage by the way, we ended up riding three times.

Yes, shops are planned, as well as games, on-ride photos and different types of Food & Beverage locations.
I dream of Dreamland...

And if you can’t wait until then you can now buy a Dreamland birthday card. They say ‘Happy 90th Birthday: important things that happened in 1920 [then a list]...Dreamland Opened’
Saw that at my Granny’s 90th birthday party.
