Dave Wallis is a Travelling Fair Showman who last year and this year has run a fair on the Dreamland site. Dave Wallis dosen't own the site he just leases it for the season.

I am amazed at the number of people supporting the park on that third link you supplied, and I want to thank Dave Wallis for leasing the park and keeping something happening 'on the ground'.

Mr G is a Liar!

Postby ricardobugsy » 25 Aug 2004, 23:12

The article below recalls a radio interview given in March 2002 regarding the Grade II listing of the Scenic Railway:

Also on the show was Jimmy Godden, the owner of Dreamland, who described the listing as "great news". He assured listeners that the Scenic Railway is safe in his hands.

Ten months later and he says that Dreamland is to be redeveloped into a retail and leisure complex.
