The Tom Thumb Theatre

The Save Dreamland Campaign was launched by Joyland Books in January 2003 and is now supported by several thousand people. This is the place to discuss all aspects of saving Margate's famous amusement park and its iconic , Grade II listed Scenic Railway, Britain's oldest roller coaster.

Very funny, got the address too but last week I visited the place and there was no activity whatsoever. An old chair abonded outside, no refurbishment activities, etc. so I was looking more for a mobile phone or E-mail address of the new owner as it doesn't appear she/he is living there.

Thanks for replying.

Well if I owned it I'd either :

a. Pickup my mail
b. Have any mail forwarded to me

So a letter could be worth a go.

We drive past it most weeks and Frankie has obviously now taken possession- there are sometimes windows open, for example. If she intends to live there, then presumably she is giving priority to doing the necessary work to the flat above it before restoring the exterior.

As for the suggestion you received about contacting her, then I too was going to suggest you wrote to her sending your contact details and explaining your interest.

There is one person on the forum who has spoken with her but I will leave it to that person to tell you what they told me about any future plans as I was told by PM and will not re-post info I receive by PM on forums (fora?)

If anything does happen, I will post pics as and when.

Well, maybe licenses need renewing and the place revamped, plus it's possible 'shows' of a suitable sort are not available at short notice.

Let's wait and see!

This is such good news, and it looks fun!

Hopefully it will prove a viable attraction.
