I'm not a great one for spending hours trawling the internet for the satisfaction of saving 4p per unit on my electricity bill. I can see the sense, I'm just lazy. However, my other half is a great one for all this money saving lark and he'd left this page up on the computer screen this morning:

Talking of saving money, I see that WH Smith stores are running a discount promotion scheme running from Thursday 22 October to Sunday 1 November. You need to ask for a free privilege discount card which you present at the checkout. Among many other things, you can get 20 per cent off ALL books. The offer couldn't be better timed for those in search of something good to read - need I say more ladies and gents? Westwood Cross and Margate High Street stores would be particularly good places to visit between these dates!

I hear the all lights went out in Westwood X today. I assume that was caused by the unprecedented rush of shoppers after a certain book!
