As the Shell Grotto has long been the hub for the Campaign, I can justify this plug!

Come and celebrate Halloween at the Shell Grotto, Margate on 31st October from 7pm!

Please see www.shellgrottofriends.org for more details.

Our places are already booked. We had a marvellous time last year and such a laugh with Dave Collard, Nick Evans and his wife.

Looking forward to it again this year. A night out recommended to all!

Sorry All, I'm afraid Sue and I won't be able to make it - this sounds like a fun event though. Some friends of ours were under the vague, but probably misguided, impression we might be quite handy to have on their quiz team. They don't know what they're in for. Sorry Dave, you'll have to sit on someone else's lap this year.

Sorry all - I just wanted to confirm that, unfortunately, I won't be able to attend this year's event as I won tickets for Chessington's Hocus Pocus event and decided to go today as it is Halloween. (Also I heard Sunday's weather is expected to be pretty dire).

I wish everyone much success and hope all who attend have a great time. I'll certainly be thinking of you all "in spirit" (slightly apt for the season possibly). Happy spooking.

Best wishes

Martin

PS Maybe we could have a social meet-up soon; possibly a Christmas meal as we certainly have quite a bit to be proud of achievement-wise of late with the Dreamland Trust inaugural meeting etc. Just need some luck with those further monetary bids for the project to evolve further.

Sorry you couldn't make it this time round Martin but I hope you had a nice night. I have just got in from the Halloween event and I have to say what a lovely evening it was. Nice to see old friends again and some of the costumes were fabulous. A good time had by all I think. There will definately be some amusing photos circulating at some point...

Thank you Sarah for such lovely hospitality on Saturday night and introducing me to the world of Tarot Cards! We all had a great time and the girls enjoyed making themselves up into scary monsters!

As ever, we had some fun with Dave and Claire and hope to see you both in the new year.
